The Easiest Pasta Recipe You’ll Ever Make.

Although spending hours in the kitchen preparing dinner may be appealing to some, I for one am all about an easy, quick, but still delicious recipe! My mom always jokes that somewhere in our family lineage there must be some Italian blood in me because my body composition is probably easily 50% pasta. No shame over here. Pasta is DELICIOUS! I am sharing one of my favorite go-to recipes when I’m running low on groceries and am craving something tasty!

Easy Tomato Angel Hair Pasta

Ingredients:                                                                                                                                    
1 pack of cherry tomatoes   
1 lb of angel hair pasta (or any other pasta you may have in your pantry)
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. olive oil
Handful of fresh basil chopped
5 cloves of garlic, minced
red pepper flakes, to taste
Parmesan cheese, to garnish                                                                               

Directions:

1. Start by putting the butter and olive oil into a medium sauce pan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant. 2. Cut all cherry tomatoes in half and toss them into the sauce pan. Sauté for about 9-10 minutes over low-medium heat. 3. While tomatoes are cooking, boil about 1 quart of water and cook your noodles according to the time on the package. (Make sure to salt your pasta water well so that flavor seeps into your pasta). 4. Once noodles are cooked, strain in colander and toss into the sauce pan with tomatoes. Add the freshly chopped basil. You may need to add some more butter or olive oil to breakup the noodles. Add Parmesan cheese and top and it’s ready to serve!
